To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must possess all of the mandatory Professional Technical Qualifications listed below. These qualifications would typically be acquired through education, experience, and training which reflect progressive development and achievement in managing a comprehensive business program in a complex organization. An individual’s total experience and education must demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position. Applicants must meet all of the qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Professional Technical Core Qualifications (PTQs): PTQ 1.Demonstrated expertise and skill in the development, deployment and management of technology platforms, infrastructure, and software, as well as in a variety of IT concepts, such as: systems and application architectures, data architecture, security architecture, web-based/mobile solutions, high performance computing, big data, cloud computing, business intelligence and e-commerce solutions; with an understanding of future trends and the ability to drive innovation and justify technology investments that deliver improvements. PTQ 2. Expert knowledge of and demonstrated experience in fueling an innovative culture that drives value through governance, strategic and operational information technology planning and methodologies for translating business needs into actionable plans that incorporate the collective people, process, and technology changes necessary for successful technology adoption within the business and/or IT organization. PTQ 3. Demonstrated experience, understanding, and ability to interpret, translate, and effectively communicate the laws and regulations addressing information technology management and security issues or risks with business or mission owners. NOTE: Responses to PTQs must not exceed 2 pages per PTQ, for a total of 6 pages.
