Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated AP/AR Specialist to join our finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to our financial success and growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to maintain a smooth cash flow, contribute to financial reporting, and support the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Process and review incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to company policies.




• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to verify the completeness of transactions.




• Reconcile vendor statements, research and resolve discrepancies, and address vendor inquiries.




• Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end




• Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely and accurate collection of payments.




• Follow up on overdue accounts and communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances.




• Post customer payments accurately in the accounting system and reconcile discrepancies.




• Maintain organized and up-to-date customer records, including contact information and payment history.




• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting regulations, and industry best practices.

• Proven experience 4 working in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles.




• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.




• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).




• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions.




• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.




• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.




• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.




• Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and compliance.

Compensation of the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist

• $40-45k dependent on experience
