Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (Data Management/Application Software) Full Time

In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS GS-14: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level. Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Develop software that enables data ingestion, data validation, data migration and data persistence leveraging native Structured Query Language/Transact-Structured Query Language (SQL/T-SQL). Develop simple to complex processes to interrogate and analyze a variety of data sources, such as Health Level Seven (HL7) files, flat files, database structures leveraging Extract Transform Load/Extract Load Transform (ETL/ELT) processes and complex custom SQL codes. Develop KornShell scripts as needed to satisfy data interfaces; and manage database systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, Database 2 (DB2), and Oracle. Utilize a variety of programming languages (i.e., SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), PostgreSQL, etc.) to ingest, manipulate, or persist data in support of the total lifecycle of a data centric solution. Time In Grade Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP). You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
