SUPERVISORY COMPUTER SCIENTIST Full Time

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03/GS-9-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: Planning, coordinating, managing and directing the development and implementation of test engineering process, software engineering policies, guidance and metrics for the Software/Systems Test Engineering Branch; Develops and updates NAWCAD policy, procedures and programs to satisfy DoD and Navy Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment program requirements for system/software engineering and maintains currency of test engineering processes by soliciting process user and customer feedback for continuous process improvement; Coordinating test engineering support to program managers for ALRE/SE programs and technical matters, and ensuring DoD, Navy and NAWCAD policy is appropriately tailored and included in program and contractual documents; Identifying, preparing, submitting and defending justifications for expenditures for equipment, facilities and manpower; and Developing the necessary budget documentation to support Branch initiatives and assist in the strategic planning effort for the Division.
