Senior Software Engineer (1171169) Full Time

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex backend systems that power our travel platform. Work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable microservices, develop public APIs, and integrate with Global Distribution Systems (GDS). Design and develop scalable and resilient backend services using Scala and microservice architecture. Work with GDS systems to integrate and optimize flights and hotel booking processes. Build and maintain robust public APIs to enable seamless integrations with partners. Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Spanner for scalable and efficient data storage. Optimize and enhance payment processing systems for secure and seamless transactions. Lead architectural discussions and design complex backend solutions to support business needs. Drive A/B testing strategies to measure and improve system performance and user experience. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers in an agile environment. Work cross-functionally with teams across the organization to ensure seamless data and service integration. Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and promote best practices in software development.

HOURS: 40 hours per week
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or a related degree discipline followed by four (4) years of software experience IN THE ALTERNATIVE TO THE REQUIREMENTS STATED ABOVE THE EMPLOYER IS WILLING TO ACCEPT six (6) years of software experience.
