Project Solution Architect (711237) Full Time

– Define the business and technical requirements of the UMAX CIS solution, while recognizing any inconsistencies, assumptions, and critical elements that must be considered and implementing technical business solutions, including software for utilities companies. Define the specifications of end-to-end solutions by tying together patterns from multiple domains. Conducting data analysis using Microsoft SQL Server and coordinate with both functional and technical specialists in the Fit/Gap analysis to ensure the proper implementation of the chosen solution. Refine high-level business requirements, challenge the customer to make them SMART, and translate them into functional requirements to be communicated to the project team. Interact with stakeholders in the IT and business groups to provide a clear picture of the users’ vision regarding the structure and function of the system, as well as business processes within utility sectors of water, gas and electricity and the areas in which the system must be able to evolve. Identify the necessary skills and competences to implement the business solution and coordinate the appropriate functional team to support the project accordingly. Working with the project lifecycle, including the organization and phases of software development projects to plan and manage engagement work (especially with internal suppliers) and allocate resources appropriately based on time, quality, and budget constraints. Designing and implementing reports utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI and collaborate with the project team to develop and enhance solutions, as well as best practices, tools and methods, and intellectual property. Develop knowledge of current issues, trends, key drivers, as well as their impacts in relevant industries and technologies. Execute the integration strategy according to fundamental architectural concepts, ltineris’ software implementation methodologies, and in accordance with the customer’s requirements and constraints to ensure that all ltineris’ business solutions and the customer’s architecture are appropriately integrated while using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing in order to support the meter to cash process utilities. Plan and oversee the implementation of the business solution including functional, technical, migration and testing and from the initial intake through final implementation in collaboration with the Project Manager. Gather early user feedback on the solution from key customer stakeholders. Serve as a design reference throughout the evolution of the project.
May telecommute. Will travel 20% US to meet with current and/or prospective customers.
Five (5) years of post-degree, progressive experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Experience must have included: implementing technical business solutions, including software for utilities companies; use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing in order to support the meter to cash process utilities; Conducting data analysis using Microsoft SQL Server; designing and implementing reports utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS); designing and implementing reports using Power BI; utilizing business processes within utility sectors of water, gas and electricity including Cycle Billing, Collect and process meter reads, Service orders, Receive and reverse payments, and Delinquent balance; working with the project lifecycle, including the organization and phases of software development projects; and managing various project tracks including functional, technical, migration and testing and integrating them to deliver cohesive solutions.
Requires a Bachelors (or foreign educ. equiv.) Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related.
