A qualified candidate must possess the following: Specialized IT experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training or IT certification which demonstrates skill in applying: Principles and methods for integrating information systems components. Performance tuning tools and techniques. System diagnostic tool and fault identification techniques. Systems administration methods. Participating in the planning and delivery of a full range of IT customer support services. Installing, configuring, upgrading and trouble shooting hardware and software components. Presenting formal and informal training and assistance to customers. Reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests; and IT security principles. ~OR~ Completion of a master’s degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master’s degree in completer science, engineering, information systems management or technology management, or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours as indicated above and required the development or adaption of application, systems, or networks. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates must demonstrate IT-related experience which addresses the following four competencies: 1. Attention to detail – Such as implementing quality control procedures and conducting compliance reviews. 2. Customer service – Such as providing assistance to both internal and external customers; assessing customers’ needs, meeting quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction. 3. Verbal communication – Such as conducting formal presentations or training to audiences at varying levels of hierarchy and technical expertise. 4. Demonstrated problem-solving skills – Such as identifying the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Candidates who possess the following knowledge/experience will be considered Best Qualified and referred first. Experience and knowledge of creating and managing Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) records or similar. Experience and knowledge of submitting and tracking Information Technology Acquisition Systems (ITAS) requests or similar. Possess CompTIA Security+ Certification
