ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN Full Time

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Using Modernization Process specifications, laws, and regulations to work the ship availabilities; 2) Applying technical and engineering methods to the test and evaluation of equipment associated with shipbuilding/repair modernization; 3) Executing permanent and non-permanent alterations to complete vessel repairs; and 4) Repairing/modifying/overhauling ships using various trades and crafts (i.e. shipwright, ship fitter, sheet metal, pipefitter, welder, etc.).
