Bravo Delta Logistics is now hiring delivery drivers to join a “Bold & Diverse” team of professionals. This veteran-owned, employee-focused company is made up of individuals from all over the world and provides each person the chance to learn and grow while delivering packages for Amazon. Whether entering the job market for the first time, transitioning careers, or interested in becoming a Commercial Driver, we will help you succeed with us – no experience required!
On-the-job training will help you feel confident on the road and at the doorsteps of customers. All associates start out operating safe, 2020 sprinter vans. Great drivers will have the opportunity to participate in paid training become DOT certified Commercial Drivers operating E450 step vans if desired. We also promote from within our driving team, so let us know if you have an interest in leadership!
This active job will keep you moving. Approximate hours are 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Full-time drivers work four shifts weekly, generally including one weekend day, with optional overtime available periodically. Part-time positions of two or three shifts per week are open to drivers who can first complete a couple weeks of full-time training.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Operate the company-provided vehicle safely and professionally at all times.
- Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
- Load vans and deliver packages with care, in varying weather conditions
- Tech savvy: Use the company-provided smartphone for GPS, customer delivery information, and safety monitoring. Navigate routes throughout the Seattle delivery area. Use scheduling application to manage your shifts. Use payroll application “ADP” to manage your time clock. Communicate through Discord chat / instant message program
- Work up to 10 hours per day and 2-4 shifts weekly
Basic Requirements
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- At least 21 years of age
- Current valid driver’s license – a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is not required
- Good driving record
- Ready to begin work at 6:00 am!
Compensation & Benefits
Drivers average $20.50-$22+ per hour with bonuses. Pay is biweekly starting at $20.50 per hour. You are immediately eligible for bonuses and incentives including:
- Paid training
- Safe driving bonus of $1 extra per hour worked weekly (approx. $2000 annually)
- Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Benefits available for full-time drivers & their families
- 401K plan with employer match up to 3%
- Delivery quality and performance bonuses
- Referral bonus for new employees referred by existing employees – each driver in the pair will receive $50 / month of employment for the remainder of 2022, paid after peak season in January 2023. More details available upon request
- Commercial Driver advancement if desired: paid DOT certification training + medical card
- Overtime is paid at time and half
