Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field appropriate to the work of position AND three years of progressive experience as a PeopleSoft Developer OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Knowledge and experience with the human capital management software system is required. Must have in-depth knowledge of the Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleSoft HCM, People Tools, PeopleCode, Application Packages, Integration Broker, Application Engine, BI Publisher, PS SQR, Oracle, SQL, UNIX and MS NT are required. Working knowledge and experience with one or more of the following are required: COBOL, Java, Time Collection Devices, Elastic, Debugger and/or Perl are preferred. Must possess an understanding of system architecture, client/server technology, application administration and networks. Works well in a collaborative team environment. Communicates clearly both orally and in writing. Seeks self-improvement. Must have the ability to successfully obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation at the TIER 3 (secret clearance) level to complete assigned duties that require access to classified national security information. As an authorized and privileged user of Department of Defense Information Systems must possess or receive Security+ Certification as a condition of access within six months of employment, and maintain compliance with Cyberspace Workforce Management.
