IT Specialist (CUSTSPT) (Senior Specialist Data Center) Full Time
You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes ALL the following: – Evaluating, designing, implementing, and managing systems and services (e.g. IT Service Management, Windows and Linux OS, Cloud); AND – Providing technical guidance, expertise, and knowledge of best practices in a data center and cloud centric environment; AND – Experience with data center management, processes, and tools (e.g. IPAM, Windows and Linux automation, virtualization, server and network monitoring); AND – Experience with project standards and methodology; AND- Leading major projects and reporting out to senior management and stakeholders. In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral communication, and 4) problem solving. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13 you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
