Great opportunity for a candidate that enjoys controls, processes and really wants to move from an Accounting or audit role into a more IT focused role. This position will act in a consulting manner to provide guidance for process improvement and identify risks associated with information technology.
Duties of the IT Auditor
- Perform compliance and risk audits/assessments for IT
- Review and analyze IT controls and processes
- Assist in process improvement and making recommendations to directors
- Research and stay up to date on IT regulatory requirements (SOX, SEC)
- Meet with managers to understand processes
- Special projects as requested
Requirements of the IT Auditor
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Technology
- Experience with audit or internal audit would be highly preferred
- Prior knowledge and experience with evaluating policies, processes, and systems to identify risks and control gaps
- Experience with process improvement
Pay range for the IT Auditor is based upon experience and qualifications in the $100-115,000 year range with a competitive benefits package.
