Information Technology Specialist (SYSADMIN), NF-04 Full Time

QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position. Specialized IT experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training or IT certification which demonstrates skill in applying: Principles and methods for integrating information systems components; Performance tuning tools and techniques; System diagnostic tool and fault identification techniques; Systems administration methods; and IT security principles. OR Completion of a master’s degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master’s degree in computer science/engineering, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours as indicated above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems, or networks. Ability to perform work while being attentive to detail. Ability to work with clients and customers to assess their needs and provide information assistance. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and able to make convincing presentations. Ability to solve problems by identifying the problem(s) and use sound judgment to evaluate, offer recommendations, and implement solutions.
