Information Security Systems Officer (L3) Full Time

Our client has an immediate need for a Information Security Systems Engineer (L3) to join their team in Albuquerque, NM(link removed)

As a Cybersecurity Information Systems Security Engineer L4, you will play a critical role in assisting our IT office by working within classified areas to provide “day-to-day” direct support to classified networks supporting the DoD. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and possess the necessary qualifications to excel in this role.

MUST HAVE A TS/SCI TO BE CONSIDERED FOR POSITION

Job Duties:

• Support classified networks within DoD, ensuring confidentiality, availability, and integrity.




• Provide subject matter expertise in cybersecurity to enhance the security posture of classified networks.




• Design and implement security features to protect against unauthorized access and emerging threats.




• Deliver recommendations and solutions for the implementation of cybersecurity programs and projects.




• Adhere to DAF, DoD, and IC standards, as well as government-defined processes.




• Provide program reviews, schedules, action item updates, and required procedures by established deadlines.




• Conduct in-depth research for policies and processes, and apply IT security control requirements to safeguard data and resources.




• Ensure that security solutions are compatible with system and network configurations.

Education and/or Experience:

• 15 years of relevant DoD work experience.




• Aerospace/industry strategy experience.




• Experience of Risk Management Framework and understanding of NIST standards guiding the process.




• Masters degree: Arts (MA), Science (MS), or Engineering (ME).




• Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education.




• DoD 8570.01 IASAE Level III. (IAM Level III with relevant experience may be considered as a substitute).

Compensation: $170,000 – $190,000 DOE
