GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience preparing, reviewing and/or approving and implementing technical instructions, procedures and methods pertaining to radiological area of expertise. Experience preparing, reviewing and approving (concurring) complex and highly technical work instructions, plans, or procedures that direct the performance of radiological work. Experience maintaining appropriate emergency response qualifications, participating in required drills, and engaging personnel from a variety of Shipyard departments for data sharing and problem resolution. Experience providing accurate radiological engineering of overhaul procedures and testing of nuclear submarines. Experience with function as the Radiological Control Engineer (RCE) on his/her assigned shift. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing authoritative and extensive engineering services using a detailed knowledge of nuclear reactor plant systems, overhaul procedures, refueling operations, and material testing. Experience developing radiological control courses of action providing technical direction in accordance with Shipyard procedures over complex operations, on-site reviews, or other radioactive work. Experience carrying out special technical radiological control projects related to the improvement and creation of existing radiological technical methods and procedures. Experience reviewing and approve instructions, plans, or procedures, manuals, and other technical documents and ensure that supplementary instructions are issued to assure compliance. Experience developing junior members and participate in training lectures and training sessions. Experience maintaining an extensive knowledge of engineering principles and theories.
