GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrating communication skills with technical terminology in correspondence, facilities contract specifications, material specifications, procedures, and reports; 2) Monitoring electrical distribution system operation, analyze applicable reports, study test results, and conduct field investigations to determine a distribution system’s condition; 3) Evaluating complex and diverse drawings, specifications, submittals, standard operating procedures, test methods and results, reports, and sketches; and 4) Conducting independent research to support operations and maintenance as well as solve design or modification problems. GS-10: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Entering data into computer maintenance management systems; 2) Assisting other technicians with conducting studies of electrical distribution systems to determine deficiencies and capabilities; 3) Performing maintenance inspections of high voltage electrical distribution equipment; and 4) Analyzing the efficiency/effectiveness of organizational operations. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and maintaining electrical engineering databases; 2) Documenting findings from maintenance inspections; 3) Executing job duties in accordance with established procedures; and 4) assisting others in developing, calculating, recording and/or charting data associated with electrical studies.
