TO QUALIFY AT THE FV-I (GS/FG 13) LEVEL, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H (GS/FG10-12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: experience and knowledge of the methods and techniques of engineering or maintenance. Applies practical knowledge in operations and maintenance in support of the National Aerospace System (NAS) facilities/equipment. In addition to the above qualifications, the following has been determined to be a Quality Ranking Factor (QRF). This means applicants who possess this factor are considered to be Well-Qualified. QUALITY RANKING FACTOR (QRF): Well qualified applicants will possess experience that includes responsibility for operations and/or maintenance support of building infrastructure components within the National Aerospace System (NAS), with one or more of the following subject areas/equipment: Chillers, building automation systems (BAS), elevators, sanitary systems, Engine Generators (EG), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Static Automatic Transfer Switches (SATS), Uninterruptable Power Systems (UPS), Switchgear (GE or SqD), and/or Lightning Protection Grounding Bonding and Shielding (LPGBS).
