Specialized Experience GS12: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes knowledge and application of the principles, practices, and software used in the preparation, periodic updating, and application of construction schedules. This experience may have been in one or more roles wherein networked construction schedules were prepared, reviewed, analyzed, and/or applied for the purpose of managing construction contracts, contract changes, claims and/or disputes. Work at this level would involve the independent application of technical practices and principles with limited guidance and supervision of more experienced professionals. Direct participation in contract and change negotiations and/or resolution of conflicts, claims, or disputes would be typical at this level. Specialized Experience GS11: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes knowledge and application of the principles, practices, and software used in the preparation, periodic updating, and application of construction schedules. This experience may have been in one or more roles wherein networked construction schedules were prepared, reviewed, analyzed, and/or applied for the purpose of managing construction contracts, contract changes, claims, and/or disputes. Work at this level would involve the application of technical practices and principles with the guidance and supervision of more experienced professionals. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Building and Construction Computer Skills Quality Management Teamwork Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent . Must have 52 weeks at the GS-11 for the GS-12 grade level Must have 52 weeks at the GS-09 for the GS-11 grade level
