Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Engineering Equipment Operator (Motor Vehicle Operator)~ without more than normal supervision. I have the ability to perform the common duties operating a variety of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, motor graders, front-end loaders, and angle dozers to roughen up or break up earthwork surfaces; perform preventative maintenance on tractors and assigned equipment; operate farm-type tractors and towed or attached equipment to maintain training areas, ranges, and combat trails; perform minor equipment adjustments and maintenance on tractors and equipment; and performing various laboring duties on open fields, ranges, maneuver areas and unimproved roads. I work under normal supervision of a work leader who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed – Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. – Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Because of the location of some of the controls and attachments, the operator is frequently required to work in awkward or strained positions. Working Conditions: Work is performed outside in varying types of weather, often in an open driver’s seat or platform, on slopes, grades, and rolling surfaces.
