Your background must demonstrate work involved in leading the operation of equipment such as graders, tractors with bulldozer or angledozer blades, front-end loaders, backhoes, trench diggers, and large industrial tractors with pan or scraper attachments. EXPERIENCE: A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position. Evidence which demonstrates you possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of this position must be supported by detailed descriptions of such on your resume. SCREEN-OUT ELEMENT: Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen out element, which usually appears as question 1 in the on-line questionnaire. Those applicants who appear to possess at least the minimal acceptable qualification requirement are considered for further rating; those who do not are rated ineligible and are eliminated. Physical Requirements: Physical demands on the incumbent consist of walking, bending, stooping, stretching, reaching, pushing, pulling, tugging, and climbing. Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Must be able to walk in all types of terrain and soil conditions. Working Conditions: Work is typically performed outside in all type of inclement weather to include sun, wind, rain, cold, or snow and under periodic muddy conditions. The incumbent may be subjected to significant exposure to loud noises, vibration, dust, dirt, and fumes from the motor and exhaust while operating machinery. The position requires walking and standing including significant periods of outdoor duty to perform tasks such as attending services and inspecting sections of the cemetery including sections which are active interment areas or sections under construction.
